The National Centre for Financial Education (NCFE) has today declared the results of its national level financial literacy tests, namely, NCFE NFLAT and NFLAT Junior. The NCFE NFLAT exams were conducted during the period November 25, 2016 to January 07, 2017. NCFE NFLAT and NFLAT Junior 2016-17 were conducted in both online and offline mode, across more than 1800 schools in India and more than 2,37,000 students participated in the online test. The qualifying schools for the 2nd Round of the competition of NCFE-NFLAT 2016-17 were declared today. The results consists of Top 10 Schools from each zone, Individual Regional Students Winners for NFLAT and NFLAT Junior.
NFLAT is the financial literacy test for students of Class 6th to 8th standard while NFLAT is the financial literacy test for students of Class 9th and 10th standard.
It was originally conceptualized that only schools will be declared as winners and each school will be nominating two of its students for the 2nd round of NCFE NFLAT Competition instead of declaring names of individual student winners. NCFE received representations from the students, parents and teachers requesting NCFE to consider individual student winners as well. NCFE has kept in view that some of the schools may not meet the criteria of minimum 200 students participation in the NFLAT 2016-17 to be eligible for consideration for the next round. Therefore, it was decided to felicitate students who are regional winners of NFLAT Junior and NFLAT for the year 2016-17.

The Regional NFLAT and NFLAT Junior Winners list has been generated on the basis of the performance of the students from various schools across different regions conducted through Online and Offline mode during November 2016 to January 2017.
The Regional Winners will be called for the felicitation during 2nd round of Competitions to be held between 21st April to 23rd April, 2017 (Friday to Sunday) at NISM Patalganga Campus, Near Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Regional Winners will be compensated as per NCFE guidelines for their travel to and from Mumbai to participate in the 2nd round of competition. Necessary instruction and detailed Itinerary shall be emailed to the respective Students/Schools in due course of time.
