1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the “Free MF Learn & Earn Program” (hereinafter referred to as the “Program”) offered by PrepCafe Academy (hereinafter referred to as the “Provider”). By enrolling in the Program, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for participation in the Program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 22 years of age.
- Hold a graduate degree in any field.
- Not hold an existing AMFI Registration Number (ARN).
By participating in the program, you agree that you meet the eligibility requirements and the information provided by you is true to the best of your knowledge. In case any discrepancy is observed, you shall be liable for rejection and/or legal action as may be deemed fit.
3. Program Description
The Program offers participants access to free training materials, live training sessions, exam fee sponsorship, and ARN fee reimbursement, subject to successful completion of the Program’s requirements.
4. Commitment
By enrolling in the Program, you agree to:
- Actively participate in the online self-paced training.
- Attend and engage in the live training sessions.
- Successfully complete mock tests as required.
- Appear for the NISM Series VA: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification exam scheduled by the Provider.
- Apply for an AMFI Registration Number (ARN) as mandatory for all passed candidates.
- Empanel with ICICI Prudential AMC or any other AMC as required by the Program.
5. Examination and Fees
The Provider will sponsor the NISM Exam Fees (₹1500) for eligible participants only upon successfully attending the training, clearing the required Mock Test with the requisite marks, and actively scheduling the exam for themselves. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the exam is scheduled, attended, and complied with by all means. Participants are responsible for attending the exam by visiting the allotted NISM Test Centre, reaching the venue well ahead of time, carrying their original identity proof, and complying with all the instructions at the Test Centre.
In the event that a participant fails to attend the scheduled examination, a penalty of ₹1500 shall be charged to recover the fees paid by the Provider to NISM.
6. ARN Fee Reimbursement
The ARN fee (₹1770) is reimbursable only upon producing the ARN Number in self-name, Empanelment proof, and UPI details. Reimbursement will be made through UPI mode only.
7. Penalties
Participants who do not apply for an ARN after passing the exam will incur a penalty of ₹5000. This penalty comprises the recovery of training material, live training sessions, NISM Exam Fee, and service charges.
8. Termination
The Provider reserves the right to terminate your participation in the Program if you violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in any behavior deemed disruptive or inappropriate. In case of violation of any terms, the participant may also be liable for legal action as the case may be.
9. Privacy Policy
By participating in the Program, you agree that your personal details may be shared with NISM, AMFI, AMCs, and other regulatory bodies to which the participant provides their consent. These regulatory bodies may use your information as necessary for certification and licensing processes. Your data will be handled in accordance with the Provider’s privacy policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maharashtra, India.
