Step 3: Apply for AMFI ARN License Online

Successful NISM certified candidates will apply for ARN License with AMFI. Fee of ₹1770 is reimbursed back to you.

Eligibility Criteria

Participants who wish to become a mutual fund distributor need to enroll into the Free MF Learn & Earn Program. Participants need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to enroll into the free program.

Age is over 24 years

To be eligible for the free training, your age must be more than 24 years as on the date of the training. Candidates with less age may not apply.

Graduate in any stream

The minimum qualification for becoming a mutual fund distributor in India under the MF Learn & Earn program is graduation in any stream.

NOT an ARN Holder

You must not be an existing ARN Card holder. Existing ARN Card holders are not eligible for sponsorship of NISM Fee or ARN fees under this program.

How is the NISM Mutual Fund Distributors training conducted?

PrepCafe Academy conducts online instructor-led training for the NISM Mutual Fund Distributors module. This training is for a period of 10-12 hours. Additionally, participants are also provided online self-paced elearning course of 10-12 hours. Participants also go through multiple practice exams, mock tests and doubt clarifying sessions. This ensures that participants clear the exam in first attempt.

What is the eligibility criteria to enroll in the free “Become a Mutual Fund Distributor” program?

To avail the free benefit of the “Become a Mutual Fund Distributor Program”, participants need to be of at least 24 years old and should have completed graduation in any stream, e.g., B.Com., B.Tech., B.A. etc. Participants who are presently holding an ARN License are NOT eligible.

What documents are required to enroll in the program?

You will need to upload your PAN Card and Graduation Marksheet or Graduation Certificate while filling up the enrollment form. Your candidature will be submitted for approval to the sponsor, after which you will be confirmed for the program.

Which exam do I need to pass to become a Mutual Fund Distributor?

All participants need to pass the NISM Series VA: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Examination to become a mutual fund distributor in India. The exam consists of 100 questions required to be attempted in 120 minutes. There is no negative marking for the exam.
